Ghana’s AFCON 2021 qualifier against minnows Sao Tome and Principe has been moved to 13.00 GMT on Monday November 18.

Ghana, four-time winners of the AFCON saw off South Africa by two goals to nil with Atletico Madrid star Thomas Teye Partey and 19-year old debutant Mohammed Kudus netting on Thursday at the Cape Coast Sports stadium in their group opener.

Despite the win the Black Stars are in second position behind Sudan who walloped Ghana’s next opponents – Sao Tome and Principe – four nil at home.

The Black Stars trained today at the newly constructed Madina astro turf in the nation’s capital.

Coach Kwesi Appiah will be expecting a resounding win from his team as they seek to maintain their fine start to 2021 AFCON qualifiers.
