Black Meteors attacker Issah Abass climbed off the bench to power FC Utrecht into the next stage of the Dutch Cup.

With the game locked at 0-0, the coach threw in the Ghanaian international after 63 minutes and latched onto a pass from Kerk Gryano to break the deadlock in the 68th minute.

It proved to be the decisive goal of the game as FC Utrecht saw off the remainder of the match to book a spot in the last sixteen.

Abass, 21, picked up a yellow card after 77 minutes as his team await the identity of the next team they face in the last 16.
