A 32 year old electrical engineer Mr Emmanuel Danso Akonkoh has been duly elected to head juvenile football in Assin North, South and Central in the central region of Ghana.

Mr Danso was the sole candidate who vied for the position and received massive endorsement by all the clubs present.

At Twifu Atti Morkwa, Mr Oheneba Tutu Samuel was also endorsed as the District football chairman by popular acclamation.

In the central regional capital,Cape Coast Mr Noah Gikunoo was endorsed by over 30 delegates present to steer the affairs of juvenile football for the next four years.

In the same region,there were elections held at Upper Denkyira East and West,Gomoa East,Awutu Central, East and West and Diaso

The elections were supervised by the officers from the electoral commission.

At Assin Fosu and Twifu Atti Morkwa,the regional football association chairman,Mr Robert Oteiku Duncan sat through the elections and beseeched the clubs to work hand in hand with their chairmen to help develop grassroots football.

He reiterated the commitment of the president of Ghana football Association Mr Kurt E. S. Okraku to revive juvenile football and to bring back the love of the game.
