Former management member and dyed-in-the-wool Asante Kotoko fan, Benjamin Nti has quizzed those calling for Dr Kwame Kyei to step down as Executive Chairman of the club on their succession plan should he depart.

The club has slowly become the epicenter of wild allegations with opinions divided on the path to chart in terms of leadership as calls for the head of Dr Kwame Kyei intensifies by the day.

Some section of the supporters argue that Executive Chairman, Dr Kwame Kyei, is unfit to steer the affairs of the club on the back of the administration lapses witnessed under his spell.

Speaking to Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, Benjamin Nti, a former management member of the club has asked supporters if they have any succession plan in place should the business mogul turn his back on Asante Kotoko.

“Am speaking as a supporter not a former management member. I have always being a supporter. From a circle member to a circle PRO then rose to become a Regional PRO to a national secretary and then a management member.

“You have started this same thing you did to Dr K. K. Sarpong, now if Dr Kwame Kyei should say he’s fed up and leaves, who will take up the running of the club?” he quizzed.

“In these trying times where there’s no football ,should Dr Kyei leave who will take care of the pressing Asante Kotoko bills. Let’s not do that” he pleaded.
