Accra-based giant Hearts Of Oak have announced the capture of Nigerien international Abdourahamane Mamane Lawali on a two-year deal.

The former AS Douanes and Al Merreikh defensive midfielder joins the Phobians on a two-year deal as the former African champions bolster their engine room in the ongoing second transfer window.

Mamane, 23, is a full Nigerien international who made his debut for his home country on 10 September 2019 against Morocco.

Lawali forms part of four players that will be joining the continental club masters on the recommendation of head coach Edward Nii Odoom.

The Rainbow Club have currently put their training on hold following the directives of the GFA to suspend all football related activities in the wake of COVID-19.
