Former Hearts of Oak skipper Thomas Arnold Abbey has espoused his readiness to return to the capital-based outfit should they table a good offer.

Abbey who is currently a free agent after his contract with Malaysian outfit PKNP was terminated, is interested in reuniting with his former employers.

His awesome form at the Rainbow Club in his last season saw him clinch the SWAG Footballer of the Year for 2017 and helped the Black Stars B win the 2017 WAFU Zone B tournament.

In an interview with Accra-based Angel TV, the 27-year-old was open to a return back to his old stomping grounds.

“I’m a free agent now and ready to sign for Hearts of Oak if only they give me good offer, why not, football is my job.

“If only they will sit down with me and offer me something good I will sign for them.” he ended.

The Phobians are working behind closed doors to augment their squad as they seek to end a decade-long trophy drought in the current campaign which has been suspended due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.
