Asante Kotoko legend Malik Jabir has lashed out the appointees of Dr Kwame Kyei blaming them for the club’s woes.
The Porcupine Warriors constantly made the headlines last week as the club endured internal wranglings with some quarters demanding the head of Dr Kwame Kyei over his perceived lack of transparency and ‘incompetence’.
Former player and coach of the Fabulous Lads, Malik Jabir has spared the Executive Chairman of the club and channeling his criticism towards the management members who he tags as young and lacking requisite knowledge about the club.
“Nobody should touch Dr. Kyei, they should rather help him and give him matured men to work with because those who gave him the assurance to work with have really failed him,” Jabir told Kumasi-based OTEC FM
“The previous chairmen who succeed in Kotoko worked with big people who are knowledgeable and solved problems with their expertise aside from football.
“Dr. Kyei’s biggest mistake was to appoint young guys who are innocent and don’t even know much about the club that has caused Kotoko off late” he concluded.
