Female football administrator and Chief Executive Officer of Accra based Dynamite Soccer Academy, Queen Sabiratu Abdul Ganiyu has highlighted on the need for players to take their diet and nutrition during this difficult period of the novel coronavirus pandemic in the nation and world at large.

The Pharmacy Technician and football administrator has adviced players to eat well and take balanced diet to boost their immune system in this Covid-19 period to keep them healthy and help in fighting the virus

“Football players should eat fruits and drink a lot of water and exercise twice a day at least an hour each and have enough rest to keep them healthy and safe to fight the virus” Queen Sabiratu added

The pharmacist again said “drinking a lot of water, exercising and taking fruits will boost the immune system of the players, the virus cannot survive in the body once the immune system is strong and can help protect the players even if they are affected with the novel coronavirus”

She also urged players not to misuse the break and the inactive of football in the country but should rather work hard on their physicality and fitness during the period

Queen Sabiratu Abdul Ganiyu concluded saying “if the players follow these steps, it will condition their bodies for the return of football in the country if it will be possible or better still of the upcoming season”
