On-loan King Faisal forward Ibrahim Osman has revealed that the playing body at the Kumasi-based side will not accept a pay-cut if management proposes.

The striker, who was recently tagged as the best in his position in the country by head coach Slavisa Bozicic has lamented about the meagre salaries received.

The conversation about a possible pay-cut has intensified in the ensuing weeks with clubs complaining about their worsening financial woes owing to the coronavirus pandemic.

However the playing body of most clubs have opposed the proposals with Asante Kotoko loanee Osman Ibrahim registering his displeasure if the club proposes a paycut.

“Our salaries at King Faisal aren’t enough, so how will the management even thought of pay cut. How much does King Faisal pay us, we the players will never accept a pay cut if they [Management] proposed” Osman told OTEC FM.
