English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers have enquired about the availability of 19-year-old Ghanaian youngster Isaac Atanga.
Sportscorna.com can exclusively confirm that Wolverhampton Wanderers are willing to sign the FC Nordsjaelland forward who is tied to the Danish Super Liga side till the summer of 2023.
Earlier this month Belgian side Club Brugge expressed interest in the former Ghana Under 20 forward.
Atanga has been one of the most highly rated players at FC Nordsjaelland alongside compatriot Kudus Mohammed this season.
The Right to Dream Academy graduate had a satisfactory season with FC Nordsjaelland. Atanga scored seven goals and provided four assists in 25 games in all competitions before the Covid-19 enforced suspension of the campaign.
A source, who has followed the progress of the player, told Sportscorna.com:
“Wolverhampton Wanderers have been monitoring the player for some time now and it is possible that he could be on the move when the transfer window opens again.”
Transfermarkt values him at €1.30 million but it’s obvious FC Nordsjaelland might want more than that amount if they must let go of one of their key forwards.
He is considered by many as the next big thing from the West African nation.
