International Commentator Jon Champion has paid glowing tribute about Ghana international Latif Blessing, who currenlty plies his trade for Los Angeles FC in the Major League Soccer (MLS).

Blessing, who won the goal king award in the Ghana Premier League before switching to Sporting Kansas in the MLS has not looked back since moving overseas and emerged as one of the top talents in the league.

In an interview with Empire FM, Jon Champion who also ditched the English Premier League for the MLS disclosed that he was amazed by the talent of the 23-year-old.

According to the international commentator, he would not be surprised to find Blessing playing in one of Europe’s top sides in the coming years.

“There is a young Ghanaian player who’s caught my eye in the MLS at the moment and his name is Latif Blessing,” he said.

“I think he’s got a very good potential of having a brilliant career in Europe. I really enjoy watching Blessing.

Latif, who started his career as a forward has now been converted to a box-to-box midfielder and according to Jon Champion, the Ghanaian is a midfield powerhouse.

“There’s nothing off about him. He came to the MLS from Liberty Professionals and played out as a winger and did okay.

“However, currently, he’s been converted into a box-to-box midfielder and he’s doing amazing stuff there,”

“He is a dynamo, full of energy and provides the drive for what is a very good team in LAFC. For me, Latif Blessing was the standout player [in that side] last season,”

“At his age, 23, he’s got so much promise ahead of him and I’d be surprised if he doesn’t get a move to Europe soon”
