Ace sports journalist and ring announcer, Mohammed Amin Lamptey has quizzed the wisdom in the GFA secretary using a vehicle ahead of the Black Stars head coach after Nana Yaw Amponsah accused the Ghana FA of living lavishly.
Owner of Division One League side Phar Rangers, Nana Yaw Amponsah recently accused the Kurt Okraku-led GFA administration of living a luxurious life style at the expense of the football clubs.
In response to the claims by Nana Yaw Amponsah, the Communications Director of the Ghana FA, Henry Asante Twum swat those allegations explaining the current administration did not purchase the vehicles and were left with no option than to clear the vehicles at the port or face sanctions.
But Mohammed Amin Lamptey has questioned the wisdom behind handing a vehicle to the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Football Association ahead of the Black Stars coach.
“Why should the General Secretary who is always sitting in his office be given a car and not the Black Stars head coach who will be traveling across the country?” he asked on Accra-based Happy FM.
He continued: “The response of Ghana Football Association PRO regarding Nana Yaw Amponsah’s comments on the FA living lavishly raises a lot of questions. Which company got the bid to clear the cars and how much money was involved?”
