Ace Gospel artiste, Grace Ashy who is fondly known for her melodious sing-along cheer songs for the Black Stars has revealed the nation still owes her for composing a song for the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON).

Grace Ashy, who has blessed the airwaves with her cheer tunes for the senior men’s national team was contracted by the organizers of the AWCON to compose a masterpiece as Ghana hosted the rest of Africa.

Two years after the competition – where Ghana exited at the group stages – the music queen has not received her remuneration.

“The organisers of AWCON 2018 owe me for the song I composed for the tournament. They haven’t paid the USD 5,000 they promised” she told Accra-based Angel 102.9FM.

It won’t be the first time the Gospel musician is complaining of been left in the dark by authorities on what is due her.
