Belgian giants Club Brugge have joined Benfica and FC Porto in the race to sign FC Nordsjaelland defender Khalid Abdul Mumin Suleman, according to latest intelligence gathered by sportscorna.
The center-back is currently on the books of Danish top flight side FC Nordsjaelland with this contract set to expire in the summer.
The defensive department at Club Brugge is expected to undergo a raft of changes this summer as head coach Philippe Clement and Sporting Director want to reinforce their backline options ahead of the new Belgium top-flight campaign with the former Right to Dream Academy graduate Khalid Abdul Mumin Suleman.
The Kumasi-born guardsman has been very impressive in the Danish Superliga this season with a host of clubs interested in the soon to be free agent.
Meanwhile, English side Brighton and Hove Albion as well as Scottish champions, Celtic have all expressed interest in the talented center back.
SportsCorna.com understands Suleman wants to join a club who can offer him “significant first-team playing time”, with Gent, Mechelen, Brondby, Espanyol, Getafe and Nimes having scouted him this season.
There will be pressure at Celtic, who will be aiming to win domestic trophies and also compete in Europe in the upcoming season but if Suleman makes his name at the Hoops, then he could earn a move to a club much bigger than Brighton in the Premier League in the near future.
Brugge have already targeted Isaac Atanga as the replacement for their wantaway Nigeria international Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis.
