Special Assistant to the Chief of staff to Manhyia, Kwame Aboagye Mensah has revealed Manhyia is not happy with former Chief Executive Officer of Kotoko, George Amoako.

It will be recalled that news of the erstwhile CEOs unpaid salaries spread like wildfire with the National Circles Council leadership expressing their readiness to settle the debt to unburden the infant new board of directors.

After a meeting with the Chief of staff, the supporters leadership were asked to put on hold their plans of settling the debt. But special Assistant to the Chief of staff divulged Manhyia was not enthused about how the GFA Executive Council member handled the issue.

“Manhyia Palace is not happy with the way George Amoako has handled the issue of his salaries in arrears,this issue has damaged the the reputation of the club and for that matter Manhyia,” Kwame Aboagye Mensah told Mabesh TV.

“He could have done that in a proper manner, it doesn’t augur well at all,” he complained.

“We are displeased with the way he has handled it, we are not happy with him. He could have written to Prof Lydia Nkansah- committee and it would have settled the issue,” he ended.
