Former Black Queens head coach and Technical Director of Hasaacas, Yusif Basigi has patted the back of the Ghana Football Association in relation to their efforts in the development of women’s football.

It is public secret women’s football in the country has seen very little to no development in terms of infrastructure and structure. The female version of the nation’s favorite sport has been maligned since its inception but the Kurt Okraku-led GFA administration have put in recognisable efforts to transform women’s football.

When asked to rate the performance of the current Ghana FA, the 48-year-old tactician told WhatsApp sports think tank Sports Court,

“Sincerely speaking, GFA led Mr Kurt Okraku administration have and are tackling our concerns so it will not be fair to raise any concerns on women’s football.

“The GFA are doing well for women football honestly,” he ended.

Meanwhile, the 2019-2020 football has been cancelled by the GFA Executive Council with the resumption of football related activities not within sight.
