Ghana Football Association Executive Council member, George Amoako has been appointed as the Executive chairman of Kumasi-based King Faisal barely a month after he was axed at Asante Kotoko.

The experienced football administrator was shown the exit door together with his management team by board chairman of Asante Kotoko, Dr. Kwame Kyei after he dissolved the management shortly after the board of directors were inaugurated.

But within weeks of losing his role as Chief Executive Officer at Kotoko, Mr. Amoako has swiftly returned to football administration with his new role at the Insha Allah club.

“It’s true ,we have concluded talks and I will assume the role of Executive chairman of the club, running the day to day activities with Alhaji Grusah remaining the Bank roller, founder and President of Kingfaisal” he revealed to Oyerepa 100.7FM.

The Black Stars management Committee chairman is returning to the Green and White outfit for the second time and will hope to chalk greater feats akin or better than his first term.
