Highly respected founder of Anokye Stars, Sani Demdem has expressed his bitterness towards the seeming neglect by players he helped raise during their formative years.
Sani Demdem, is one of the most eminent names when Juvenile football or better still colts football is mentioned Ghana with special reference to the Ashanti region.
The veteran juvenile football devotee possess what is best described as an eagle eye meant for spotting talents and a heart of gold for nurturing them. But according to Mr. Demdem, the mouths that he fed some years ago have neglected him if not bitten him.
Speaking on Kwaku Osei TV, Sani Demdem narrated how, one of the players that he actually catered for, Torric Jebrin who currently plays for TP Mazembe in DR Congo has been ignoring his calls and messages.
“I have trained many players who have achieved at the highest stage including Tony Yeboah, Torric Jebrin, Isaac Boakye and co. but most of them have neglected me,” he lamented.
“I personally looked after Torric Jebrin in school but the last time he returned to Ghana with a brand new car, he gave me two(2) balls and GH100.00. He doesn’t even answer my calls these days. It is very worrisome.
“If I must die and come back, I would never devote my time and resources for this football business. I have wasted my time a lot. I feel a lot of pain indulging in it”, he added.
