Golden Boy nominee and Ghanaian international Kudus Mohammed’s imminent move to Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam has reaped apart the Ghanaian transfer record for a teenager.

After agreeing a five-year deal with Ajax worth €9 million from Danish club Nordsjælland, the 19-year-old’s move to the Johan Cruijff Arena eclipses that of Mohammed Aminu, who moved to Manchester City at a fee of $2 million.

Ajax Amsterdam, who are looking to reinforce their attacking department following the departure of Moroccan star Hakim Ziyech reached an agreement with Danish SuperLiga club FC Nordsjaelland for the acquisition of poster boy Kudus Mohammed this summer.

The 19-year-old is expected to arrive in the Netherlands in the next 24 hours to complete formalities.
