Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhen has completed his switch from French side LOSC Lille to Napoli.

The Partenepoi confirmed the signing of the 21-year-old Nigerian striker from Lille for a reported fee of €50m on Friday July 31 2020.

Raised in the youth clubs of the “Strickers Academy” in his native Nigeria, the lanky striker became a professional when he moved to Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.

After an unsuccessful stint in Germany, he spent a year at Charleroi playing 36 games in the Belgian team, scoring 20 seasonal goals.

His experience continued at Lille in 2019/20 where he mustered 38 appearances and 18 goals.

Osimhen is a Nigerian national. With the Under 17 he conquered the World Cup in 2015 in which he distinguished himself by finishing as the top scorer with 10 goals.

In the senior national team he made his debut in June 2017 and with the Super Eagles so far he has 10 appearances and 4 goals.
