Swiss Super league Clubs FC Sion and FC Zurich are the latest outfits to show interest in SC Kriens forward Asumah Abubakar-Ankra, Sportscorna.com can exclusively confirm.

The two giants have expressed interest in signing Asumah Abubakar-Ankra in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The duo will hope to fortify their attack for the new Switzerland Super league season by signing the attacking midfielder.

Sportscorna.com understands that, FC Sion and FC Zurich have opened a line of communication with the Swiss Challenge league Club SC Kriens for the signing of their player and things will be finalized by next week.

Abubakar-Ankra joined SC Kriens on a free transfer after ending his stay with Dutch club, MVV Maastricht.

Abubakar-Ankra is under contract with SC Kriens until the end of the 2020-2021 season though the club have the option to extend his stay by a year.

He has already been linked with English Championship side Brentford amid interest from Swiss Challenge side Grasshoppers for the pacey winger.

This season in the league, the Kumasi-born star has scored 15 goals and supplied 6 assists in 35 matches.
