Ghanaian midfield engineer Alfred Duncan ended his Serie A campaign on a flier as he shone in Fiorentina’s 3-1 away win over SPAL on Sunday afternoon.
The former Sassuolo anchor man fired La Viola into the lead on the half hour mark – his maiden goal for Fiorentina – when Federico Chiesa located him in the box and finished brilliantly with his effort.
D’Alessandro put the Stadio Paolo Mazza on level pegging when he netted nine minutes after Alfred Duncan had broken the deadlock.
When the game appeared to be heading to stalemate, Fiorentina saved their best for the last when Ivorian attacker Cristian Kouame restored the lead of the away side before Pulgar put the icing on the cake from the penalty spot in additional time.
Duncan, 27, finished his first season with Fiorentina amassing 13 games, a goal and two yellow cards after joining them in the January transfer window.
