Public Relations Officer of Aduana Stars, Evans Oppong has intimated that striker and skipper Yahaya Mohammed’s move to Ashgold is 80 per cent complete.

Reports of Ashgold’s official inquiry about the availability of the experienced goal poacher went rife last Friday and the deal is near completion per the account of Evans Oppong, popularly known in the media fraternity as Maestro.

Speaking to Kumasi-based Light FM, Maestro intimated the deal is almost done with Yahaya heading to the Obuasi-based outfit on a loan deal.

“Yahaya Mohamed move to Ashgold is 80% done and is a season loan.”

Since metamorphosing into a striker, Yahaya Mohammed has carved a niche for himself as one of the deadliest goal mongers on the domestic scene and expressed his profound killer instincts in the annulled 2019-2020 Ghana Premier League, where he grabbed double figures for the Ogya Lads.
