Accra-based powerhouse Hearts of Oak have extended the contract of first-choice goalkeeper, Richard Attah to 2023.

The man-mountain goalie joined the Phobians on a free transfer following the expiration of his deal with Elmina Sharks in 2019.

Since joining the Rainbow Club, Attah has established himself as the undisputable first-choice for coach Edward Nii Odoom while going on to attain national recognition for his superlative displays in between the sticks with Black Stars coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor naming him in his maiden national team call-up.

The decision to extend the deal of Richard will come as good music in the ears of the club’s faithfuls and the entire football fraternity who are yet to come into terms with how the Phobians allowed Joseph Esso to slip through their hands despite engaging him on the negotiation table.
