Empem Dacosta, formerly of Asante Kotoko has lamented about his premature exit from the Kumasi-based outfit.

After flourishing in Anyinase with Karela United, Dacosta was poached by Asante Kotoko ahead of their CAF Champions League campaign last season but a number of events has hampered a mission which began on a colourful note.

Since losing his position in Maxwell Konadu’s scheme of plans, the Porcupine Warriors tried shipping him out on loan which didn’t sit well with him and thus leading to his premature end in Kumasi.

Reflecting on the deflating news about his unexpected exit, Dacosta told Kumasi-based OTEC FM:

“I’m okay with the club’s decision but what I will miss is that I didn’t finish what I started,”

“I came to Kotoko to work so I’m really worried that I didn’t finish what I started with the team” he concluded.
