Emmanuel Boamah, former Asante Kotoko National Circles Council vice chairman has been left perplexed by the shocking comments made by ‘foul-mouthed’ Accra Newtown Circle 8 chairman, Nana Agyemang Prempeh.
Nana Agyemang Prempeh, chairman of Circles 8 based in Newtown, a suburb of Accra lashed out at the twelve-member board of directors as well as the Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko following multiple reports of an impasse.
He posited both the board and CEO failed to demonstrate leadership qualities on back of a reported bad blood between them a few months into office and called on life patron Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to dissolve the board.
His comments has received sharp criticism from the Greater Accra Regional Circles Council leading to his suspension.
Reacting to the latest developments, Emmanuel Boamah expressed shock at the comments of Nana Agyemang Prempeh.
“I don’t know what came over to Mr Agyemang to say what he said,” he told Ashh FM.
“The way he was responding to questions on Asempa FM was very surprising to me because Nana Agyemang is not like that,” he stressed.
Mr. Boamah continued: “People can take in alcohol, weed, cocaine or any other hard drug to influence them to say something they are not supposed to say but I don’t know what he took to influence him to do what he did,”
“Unless we ask him to tell us what hard drugs he took to influence him to do that,”
Mr. Boamah called on Nana Agyemang Prempeh to render an unqualified apology for his unbaked comments.
“He has disgraced his family if is true that he is the head of his family as the Abusuapanin. He should apologize to Ghana, kotoko and his family. I’m very sorry his family He has disgraced the greater Accra Circles,”
“We all condem what he did because is very disgraceful,” he ended.
