Senegalese international, Pape Matar Sarr has joined French Ligue 1 outfit FC Metz in the ongoing transfer window, Sportscorna.com can exclusively report.

The 18-year-old player signed his first professional contract with the French club on Monday.

Coming from Génération Foot, the Senegalese starlet will find his compatriots Ibrahima Niane, Habib Diallo and Opa Nguette in Metz.

He also follows in the footsteps of Sadio Mané who started with Metz, who have a good working relationship with the Academy of Mady Touré.

The partnership between the two clubs allows the transfer, each year, of players from Deni Biram Ndao to France. This year, it is therefore Pape Matar Sarr who has been chosen to continue that workforce with Metz.

Pape Matar Sarr, the new kid on the block, comes from a footballing family. Moreover, he is the son of Siadate Sarr, the coach of US Gorée. He is from the same family as Badara Sarr and Sidi Sarr (Nimes).

Very talented, the young player has already shown his qualities with the Senegal U17 national team during the various competitions he participated in.
