Former Asante Kotoko National Circles Council vice chairman, Emmanuel Boamah has implored Nana Yaw Amponsah to choose the best people fit for the job as he continues to compose his management team.
The brainy football administrator was billed to announce the faces behind his management team last Friday but was postponed. However, he has managed to pull three heavyweights onto his team with the announcements made during the course of the week.
Asante Kotoko poached Emmanuel Dasoberi, who until his appointment as the Administrative Manager of the Porcupine Warriors was the Deputy General Secretary in charge of administration at the GFA which is a strong statement and indication of where the club is heading towards in terms of administration.
Meanwhile, celebrated sportscaster Moses Antwi Benefo better known in the media circles as PJ Mozey has also been named as the Communications Director of the club with chartered accountant Thomas Sevordzi receiving the nod as Financial Manager of the Porcupine Warriors.
Many will follow in the course of the week as the management team of Nana Yaw Amponsah shapes up.
Sharing his thoughts on the names making up the management team, Emmanuel Boamah told Kumasi-based Ashh FM:
“We are eager to get a management to help the board and the CEO to accomplish the aims and visions of the club,”
He stressed that positions should be given to rightfully deserving individuals and not friends and cronies.
“He should not make this management about friends and should not allow people to lobby in for their friends to be part of the management but instead should choose the best people to do the job,” he ended.
