Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru through his non-for profit-organization Majeed Ashimeru Foundation, marked his birthday celebrations on Saturday October 10, 2020 with a philanthropic gesture to inmates and hawkers in Ghana’s capital, Accra.
The creative midfielder who turned 23 yesterday demonstrated his altruistic character when he through the Majeed Ashimeru Foundation, visited the Nima, Adabraka and Accra Central Police Stations and fed over 500 inmates with cooked meals, distributed items such as drinks, bread sugar as well as toiletries.
The foundation also demonstrated the same act to hawkers on the streets of Accra.
Despite playing a bit-part role at Red Bull Salzburg, he has been very instrumental for the club since joining them from Ghanaian top flight side, West African Football Academy. He will be hoping to help Salzburg defend their league crown in the ensuing season.

With the help of my family and friends, my foundation, The Majeed Ashimeru Foundation as part of my birthday celebration, visited the Nima, Adabraka and Accra Central Police Stations and fed over 500 inmates with cooked meals, distributed items such as drinks, bread sugar as well as toiletries.
We also celebrated with street hawkers as we provided them same items.
I’ll like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who made this possible and especially to all my fans for their prayers and well wishes
