Botafogo are interested in signing Ghanaian attacker Latif Atta Blessing from Los Angeles (LAFC) in the summer transfer window.
According to Graphic Sports online, talks have already started between Botafogo and LAFC as they seek to beat the $1million transfer fee originally made by their Brazilian Serie A rivals, Vasco Da Gama FC.
It will be interesting to see if the Brazilian Serie A side can sign the 23-year-old in the coming weeks.
The petit Ghanaian forward has been very efficient since joining LAFC from Kansas City in 2017 and has so far made 94 appearances, scoring 14 goals and providing 15 assists.
A move to the Brazilian Serie A would be the ideal step up for the former Liberty Professionals striker and it will be interesting to see if the 23-year-old agrees to join the “Glorious One” if the two clubs can agree on a fee.
With just two years left on his existing contract, LAFC are ready to cash in on the Ghanaian as they seek to raise funds to bring in new players.
Similarly, a move to Vasco de Gama FC would be superb for the player as well. They can offer him regular first team football.
