FC Nouadhibou Departs Mauritania Ahead Of Kotoko Reverse Fixture

Mauritania champions FC Nouadhibou have departed for Ghana ahead of the return leg tie against Asante Kotoko in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

Asante Kotoko, record holders of the Ghanaian top flight, shared the spoils with their Mauritania counterparts on Sunday November 29, 2020 to put the Ghanaian side in pole position.

According to a report filed by Kumasi-based media outlet Oyerepa FM, FC Nouadhibou left Mauritania on Monday morning aboard Mauritania Air Flight Number L60112 and are set to arrive in Ghana, precisely the Kotoko International Airport few hours after lunchtime.

Kotoko will cross swords with FC Nouadhibou in the reverse fixture at the Tamale Sports stadium this Sunday – following the club’s decision to switch their home venue from the Accra Sports stadium.
