Golden Strikers FC warmed up for the upcoming season with a 2-0 convincing win over Supreme Light Soccer Academy at the Adjiringanor Park.

A promising start to the preseason shake up lived up to its billing as an anticipated end to end clash between the lower tier sides at the Adjirnagor pitch.

The first half ended 1-0 favour of Golden Strikers.

The second half began with Golden Strikers FC putting a lot of pressure on Supreme Light SA thanks to the tactical switch on the pitch of play.

On the 85th minute, the Visitors got their second through a powerful header by Arafat to add emphasis to the score line.

However, the home team had a penalty in the 89th minute to reduce their deficit only for their captain to shoot high and wide.

The game ended 2-0 for Golden Strikers to reflect the true proceedings on the pitch.
