Ghanaian forward Isaac Atanga marked his 50th appearance in Danish top-flight football with a defeat following FC Nordsjaelland’s 2-1 loss to SonderjyskE on Sunday, Sportscorna.com can report.
Atanga started the game for FC Nordsjaelland and he was substituted in the second half for Finnish International Olive Antman in the 85th minute of the match.
The striker, who was hoping to get a win on his 50th appearance for FC Nordsjaelland was gutted about the result as the game didn’t go the way he wanted, as he’d prefer to have marked it with a win and a goal.
Atanga has contributed 15 goals (11 goals and 4 assists) for FC Nordsjaelland since joining the club from their youth team.
He earned promotion to the club’s senior team following his sterling output at the FC Nordsjaelland U19 and reserve side.
The former Right to Dream star scored 12 goals with three assists in his 24 appearances for the club’s youth side on 2019.
Atanga once earned a call-up to the Ghana U20 team.
