Versatile Ghanaian midfielder Augustine Boakye was named the man of match after scoring his second consecutive goal and provided an assist in their win over Berekum Chelsea on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League.
West African Football Academy recorded a 2-0 home victory over fellow Premiership side Berekum Chelsea at the Red Bull Arena.
The 20-year-old registered the opener for the home side with a fine finish on the 13th minute mark of the game.
It was his second consecutive goal this season after a solitary strike gave the Sogakope-based outfit a 1-0 win at Eleven Wonders in Techiman last week.
He later provided the assist for Daniel Lomotey to score the second goal of the match in the 71st minute.
Boakye was substituted by head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum in the 89th minute with Ransford Darko taking his position.
Boakye has now scored 4 goals and two assist in 5 appearances for WAFA in the Ghanaian top flight.
WAFA currently sit second on the league log after five league matches with 10 points.
