Versatile Ghanaian midfielder Augustine Boakye dreams of featuring for English Premier League outfit Brighton and Give Albion in the near future.
Boakye was recently named the man-of-the-match after scoring his second consecutive goal and provided an assist in their win over Berekum Chelsea on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League.
The 20-year-old registered the opener for the home side with a fine finish on the 13th minute mark of the game.
It was his second consecutive goal this season after a solitary strike gave the Sogakope-based outfit a 1-0 win at Eleven Wonders in Techiman last week.
He later provided the assist for Daniel Lomotey to score the second goal of the match in the 71st minute.
The attacking midfielder told Price FM in an interview that his heart is set on a move to a bigger league and is hoping it happens sooner rather than later.
“It’s everybody’s dream to play in the English Premier League,” said Augustine, who helped WAFA win major league matches.
“Hard work and good tactics from our coach helps us win more matches in the ongoing Ghana Premier League” he said.
“With winning MOTM award, I hope for more as I keep on fighting hard for more playing time and also making myself available anytime.”
“I have always been an admirer of the Premier League,” the young chap continued.
“It has always been my dream to play in England and my dream team has always been Brighton” he ended.
