Black Stars ‘B’ manager Ibrahim Taboo has called for support for Ghana’s sole representatives in the CAF Champions League, Asante Kotoko ahead of their qualifier against Sudanese giants Al Hilal this afternoon.
The Porcupine Warriors will be going into the crucial encounter against Al Hilal on the back of a tumultuous week after head coach Maxwell Konadu was shown the exit door on the back of a defeat to Great Olympics.
Interim coach Johnson Smith rallied his side to a slim win over Dreams FC and will be hoping for a win against the Sudanese side at the Accra Sports stadium this afternoon.
This led to Ibrahim Tanko, the former assistant manager of Cameroon, to take to his Twitter account to rally support for the Porcupine Warriors.
To all fans of the Porcupine Warriors and all stakeholders, let’s offer Asante Kotoko players and the technical team the needed support to make Ghana proud on the continent
I wish you well in your game today🤞🙏🙏🙏
