Ghanaian forwards Kamal Deen Sulemana and Abu Francis were in the starting XI of FC Nordsjaelland as they lost 3-1 to FC Midtjylland at MCH Arena in the Danish Superliga final match of the year 2020.
Kamal Deen Sulemana played till the 75th minute of the game before he was substituted for his country-mate Ibrahim Sadiq.
Abu Francis saw 66 minutes of action and Issac Atanga came off the bench to replace Swedish International Daniel Svensson in the beginning of the second half.
Young centre-back Maxwell Woledzi was an unused substitute for the entire duration of the game while Ivorian born-Ghanaian Mohammed Diomande Baba was not part of the matchday squad due to injury.
Goals from Anders Laustrup Dreyer, Alexander Schoh and Sory Kaba in the 8th, 12th and 67th minutes of the game sealed the victory for FC Midtjylland at home but Danish international Mikkel Rygaard Jensen scored on the stroke of half time to reduce the deficit for the FC Nordsjaelland.
The defeat was FC Nordsjaelland’s third consecutive defeat after they have lose against Sonderjysk and Kobenhavn FC in their last three league games before they are going for their One Month Christmas break.
FC Nordsjaelland are 8th on the league table with 16 pts after 13-games so far in the Danish Superliga this season.
The Danish Superliga second round of the league will resume on February 2 2021 which FC Nordsjaelland will stay at home to play against second place Brondby IF on Thursday , February 4th, 2021.
