Right to dream Academy graduate Godsway Donyoh opened his goal scoring account for Maccabi Haifa in the last match of the Year in the 2020/2021 Israeli Premier league on Ghana week 12.
Maccabi Haifa thumped Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv 3-0 at the Sammy Ofer Stadium.
The 26-year-old forward opened the scoring for the home side in the 37th minute before Serbian defender Bogdan Planic doubled the lead in the 50th minute of the match for Maccabi Haifa.
Dutch midfielder Tjaronn Chery capped their home victory through a spot kick in the 87th minute of the game.
The goal was Donyoh’s first goal for Maccabi Haifa and his last goal of the year 2020 in his seventh appearance this season.
Donyoh joined Israeli outfit from Danish Superliga side FC Nordjaelland in the last summer transfer window.
He graduated from Right to dream Academy in 2013 and was signed by Manchester City before spending two seasons on loan in Sweden at Djurgardens and Falkenbergs.
After making a total of 49 appearances and scoring 8 goals, Godsway was transferred to Nordsjælland where he soon broke into the first team.
Maccabi Haifa are currently first on the league table with 28 points after 12 league matches played so far this season.
