Ex-Dreams FC Defender Glitters In Al Wasl’s Victory Over Khorfakkan

Former Dreams Football Club defender George Dwubeng was a delight to watch in his first league game of the season for Al-Wasl Sports Club on Matchday 11 of the UAE Arabian Gulf League.

Dwubeng, who has missed Al Wasl’s first ten games of the season was named in the starting XI and played full throttle in his side’s 1-0 win against Khorfakkan Club at the Saqr bin Mohammed al Qasimi Stadium in Khor Fakkan on Friday December 25, 2020.

The centre-back put up an impressive performance on his first league game as he marshalled his side’s defense so well with his strength, pace and control for his club Al-Wasl to get their third clean sheet of the season.

After 11 matches, Al-Wasl Sports Club lie eighth on the league table with 15 points.

Dwubeng is a former student of Church of Christ Senior high school in the Ashanti Region, where he graduated from in 2015.

He joined the United Arab Emirates side Al-Wasl Sports club from Ghana Premier league outfit Dreams FC in 2019.
