Nana Yaw Amponsah, Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi-based Ghana Premier League outfit Asante Kotoko, has jumped to the defence of much-maligned attacker Evans Adomako.

Adomako joined Asante Kotoko, the record holders of the Ghanaian top flight, ahead of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League and has since endured a torrid time at the club with many supporters fingering him as a player who doesn not merit the club.

The former Phar Rangers forward, who in the eyes of many faithfuls of the club is regarded as a player of Nana. Yaw Amponsah, has come under serious scrutiny following pockets of poor displays in the jersey of the Porcupine Warriors.

However, the Chief Executive Officer of the Reds, Nana Yaw Amponsah has defended the player.

“Evans Adomako was our best player in the Eleven Wonders game, 100% passing accuracy. In Mauritania, he was our best attacking player.” He told Oyerepa 100.7FM.

Adomako is yet to find his feet at the club and will hope the defense made by Nana Yaw Amponsah will inspire a new breath of life into his Kotoko career.
