Young shot-stopper Adams Abdul Jabal marked his first league start for Kumasi King Faisal FC in their 1-1 draw against Bechem United in the match-day 8 of the Ghana Premier League at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in Bechem.
Adams, who made his official debut as a second half substitute in King Faisal FC’s 1-1 draw against Dreams FC was named in the starting XI of King Faisal for the first time since joining the club last year.
Bechem United skipper Salifu Moro broke the deadlock on the 45th minute, sending the home team into the lead before the end of the first half.
Substitute Kwame Peprah came on in the beginning of the second half to level matters for the Insha Allah boys in the 48th minute of the game.
The former best goalkeeper in the 2017 and 2018 Ashanti Regional inter Schools and Colleges Soccer Competition made wonderful saves in the goal post for King Faisal FC but conceded his first goal in his goal post for the first time this season.
Adams however was impressive in the match for his first league start and could feature in more games for Coach Andy Sinason in the rest of their league matches.
King Faisal currently sit 18th on the league log with just 6 points out of a possible 24, drawing three, losing four and and winning only one against Inter Allies.
The Insha Allah boys next match will be at home against Elmina Sharks at the Ohene Ameyaw park in Techiman in the Week 9 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.
