Islamic Senior High School graduate Abdul Jabal Adams has won his first Ghana Premier League game with King Faisal FC following their match day 11 triumph over Berekum Chelsea at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman on Saturday afternoon.
The shot-stopper was outstanding on the day for Faisal as they came back from a 3-1 first half scoreline to earn a 4-3 victory against Berekum Chelsea.
The 19-year-old goaltender joined the Kumasi-based club temporarily stationed in Techiman last year on free transfer ahead of the ongoing league season.
He has since made five league appearances and conceded 6 goals winning one game, losing one and drawing three in a total minutes played amounting to 375 since taking over the goal post from Kaisan Yuisu after his red card in their match day 7 fixture against Dreams FC.
The result temporarily helped King Faisal move to tenth position on the Ghana Premier League log however subsequent results on Sunday pushed the Insha Allah boys back into the relegation dogfight.
The Green and Whites will travel to Accra to cross swords with ‘everyone’s favorite team’ Great Olympics in the week twelve fixture as Abdul Jabal and his team mates are another win.
