Former Osei Tutu S.H.S captain, Clinton Appiah Jnr has completed his loan switch to Spanish LaLiga 2 Club CD Leganes in the ongoing Winter transfer window, Sportscorna.com can exclusively report.
The Ghanaian winger affectionately called Alcantara by many of his followers and Sports lovers within VacusLand has officially joined CD Leganes on a short-term loan deal from Ghanaian third-tier side Golden Kicks Sporting Club until the end of the ongoing season.
Sportscorna.com understands that the former student of Osei Tutu Senior High School has an option to sign a permanent deal with CD Leganes depending on his performances for the club at the end of the season.
Appiah Jnr, who is able to operate in several positions on the field graduated from University of Ghana (Legon) with a degree in Psychology in the 2019/20 academic calendar, where he was captain of the University of Ghana School team.
He was also adjudged the Best Player of the University of Ghana on three consecutive occasions (2018 to 2020) and guided the school to their first and second medals in football for the first time in many years.
The club sees the inside forward with massive prospects and believes he has the quality to add depth to the attacking department of the team.
Appiah Jnr becomes the third Ghanaian player to sign for CD Leganes this season following moves by compatriots Yussif Abdul Razak and Ransford Koufie.
