‘Grateful’ Konadu Yiadom Waxes Spiritual After Brace Against Liberty

It was a perfect day for Kumasi born centre-half Konadu Yiadom as he grabber a brace in WAFA’s handsome win over Liberty Professionals in match-day 11 of the ongoing Ghana Premier league.

The Sogakope-based outfit added Liberty Professionals to their humiliating list when they handed the Scientific Soccer lads a 5-0 defeat last Sunday.

Yiadom scored twice in the second half to help WAFA secure an impressive win.

The 20-year-old who has good ball control, game reading qualities, brilliant heading power and good passing techniques has seen warm his way into the hearts of many followers of the local game.

“I won’t say much but all I can say is glory be to the most high for the victory and the goals as well”, Konadu told online portal Sportscorna.com.

He has scored three goals in 11 league appearances for WAFA so far this season. The lanky defender will be hoping for more of such brilliant performances as the season unfolds.
