Former Inter Milan star Kwadwo Asamoah has earned himself a free transfer to Serie A side Cagliari FC.
Asamoah, who was released by Inter during the last summer transfer window joins the club on a short term contract which expires at the end of the season.
The Ghana ace had been working on staying fit while he was without a team. He was linked with Udinese also but it is Cagliari who have moved swiftly to secure his signature.
The versatile player has been given the number 19 shirt at the club and could be in line to make his league debut over the weekend when Cagliari host in-form Lazio.
Before his move to Cagliari, the 32-year-old had already represented Inter, Juventus and Udinese in the Italian top-flight.
