Jan Bednarek is expected to be available for selection for English Premier League side Southampton in their next league game.
The central defender was shown a red card for tripping Anthony Martial in the game against Manchester United at Old Trafford, which saw the South Coast club ship in nine goals.
Bednarek had a bad game last Tuesday against the Red Devils on Tuesday, putting into his own net a cross from Marcus Rashford.
That was not the end of his troubles on the day as he was also shown his marching off orders after he brought down Martial in the penalty box.
His red card was expected to see him miss the next two games for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s team but the club decided to appeal the sanction.
Their appeal was successful and they announced on their Twitter platform that the Poland international is in line to return to action for the club against Newcastle United on Saturday.
