
CAF Champions League champions Ahl Ahly are set to face Bayern Munich in the semi-final stage of the FIFA Club World Cup championship.
The Egyptian outfit progressed to the last four of the tournament after edging out Al Duhail in a 1-0 game on Thursday.
Winger Hussein El Shahat broke the deadlock in the 30 minute after being assisted by Walter Bwalya.
Bayern Munich, having won the 2019/20 UEFA Champions League were handed the ticket to join the competition in the semi-final stage, and tie with the African side now looks set to take place on Monday, February 8.
