Ghana international Andre Ayew played a key part in the top of the table clash between Swansea City and Norwich City on Friday night.
The game, which took place at the Liberty Stadium saw Swansea walk away with all three points following a 2-0 win through goals from Ayew and Conor Hourihane.
The captain for the Black Stars opened the scoring with just three minutes left until the end of the first 45 minutes.
The former West Ham United star was instrumental throughout the entire game and had opportunities to even add to his tally on the night.
Ayew was on a five-game goal drought before Friday’s game and will feel delighted to have found his acoring boots once again. He now has nine goals and two assists in the 2020/21 Championship season.
However, it was Hourihane who doubled Swansea’s lead after the recess, finishing off neatly from a Jay Fulton assist.
The results also mean that Swansea have the chance to go to the top of the summit should they win their outstanding league game.
