Yaw Preko and Godwin Attram’s time with the Great Olympics team is set to come to an end with the return of coach Annor Walker, the club’s Chief Executive Officer has confirmed.
Oluboi Commodore says Walker, who took ill for some months is now back and ready to resume his role as the head coach, ending the Yaw Preko’s spell as the interim boss.
The former Black Stars players were brought into the dugout when coach Annor Walker was battling with illness, allowing him to be granted a leave while he received treatment.
However, he was pictured at the club’s training ground on Tuesday at the Mac Dan Park.
In an interview with local-based radio station Happy FM, Mr Commodore confirmed that Coach Yaw Preko and Godwin Attram’s time with the club has come to an end.
“Now that he (Annor Walker) has returned, Yaw Preko and Godwin Attram’s work have come to an end. We will ask Annor Walker to appoint his assistant”, he told Ohene-Bampoe Brenya, host of Happy Sports.
Since taking over the club, Yaw Preko has seen the club bring forth some good results including the famous 2-0 win over Accra Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium.
