Head Coach Samuel Boadu has confirmed his resignation from his post at Medeama Sporting Club with immediate effect.
The news comes hours after helping his side to beat Techiman Eleven Wonders in the midweek action of the Ghana Premier League.
Personal reasons is said to be the rationale behind Samuel Boadu’s decision to tender in his resignation letter, Sportscorna.com understands.
Medeama having started the season on a bad note are gradually growing in confidence and performance under Samuel Boadu, with his exit now coming as a bug surprise to the club’s hierarchy.
The Mauve and Yellows now find themselves second on the league table of the Premier League after 16 games played, two points behind league leaders Karela United.
The club are yet to address the details of the issue but have confirmed the departure of the coach who also takes care of the national Under-15 team.
